Mar Ilha Pousada in Itacare is a hidden gem that offers incredible value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and quality of service provided. The location is perfect, being situated close to the common area on the 1st floor and only a short walk away from Pituba street. The staff here are outstanding, with the owners Felipe and Manuela greeting guests personally and going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The basic amenities provided are excellent, and the rooms, complete with nice bathrooms, are comfortable and well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast at Mar Ilha Pousada is simply amazing. With homemade breads, cakes, and a variety of options, it exceeded all expectations.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I cannot praise it enough! First of all, the value for money is unbeatable. The prices were affordable and definitely worth every penny. Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel was impressive. From the beautifully maintained rooms with nice bathrooms to the common areas on the 1st floor, everything was well taken care of. The location was also a major advantage, as it was conveniently situated close to Pituba street, making it easy to access all the attractions and amenities nearby. Lastly, the breakfast provided by this hotel was simply amazing. The homemade breads and cakes were a delightful treat, and the owner, Manu, was always there, offering to make fresh eggs and tapioca. It was truly a great start to the day!

I really couldn't find fault with this hotel, everything was perfect.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit hotel. De villa was prachtig en had alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden voor een ontspannen vakantie. Vooral de sauna, jacuzzi en het zwembad waren geweldig. Gelukkig waren de kamers altijd schoon en het hotel had goede faciliteiten. Het personeel, met name Fikrit Bek, was uiterst behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Hij heeft ons zelfs naar onze volgende accommodatie gebracht en was altijd vrolijk. We zullen zeker terugkomen naar deze plek.

Je kunt de accommodatie niet kwalijk nemen, maar het zou beter zijn om hier in de zomer te verblijven in plaats van in de winter. De woonruimte was prima, maar in de wintermaanden is het misschien niet zo comfortabel.

I recently had a delightful stay at a cozy Pousada in Itacare. The location was ideal for exploring the town, with the main street and various beaches located within a short walking distance. The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade bread and cakes, and even the option of fresh eggs and tapioca made to order. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable.

The only downside to my stay was the limited payment options. The Pousada did not accept credit cards, which was inconvenient for me as a traveler.

We had a fantastic stay in a very clean and comfy room with a nice bathroom. the location was superb, close to the lively Pituba street - filled with restaurants and shops and only a short walk to the beach. the staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing, including homemade bread and cakes. We also appreciated the helpful travel advice provided by the owner.

We would have preferred a quieter room further away from the common areas.
